A pilot safely landed a light aircraft on a beach near Sidmouth, Devon, after the engine unexpectedly cut out on Sunday, May 6. This video was captured by eyewitness Ian MacEachern as the plane flew towards Jacobs Ladder beach to land. Beach-goers scrambled to avoid the incoming plane but no one was injured, according to Devon Live. Police were called to the scene to support the recovery effort, the report said.
