[ Rap and Hip-Hop ] Open Question : Why doesn't music sound as good after you complete it?

The question might be a bit misleading, so allow me to elaborate. I rap and make hip-hop ish songs. I usually have an idea of what I wanna write about before I listen to beats, so once I find one that I like I start writing from there. I try to write stuff in the moments as I'm feeling it so I can capture that moment, that energy. This is where my question comes in. I usually feel that vibe all the way through writing and even directly after while I'm reading it thru with the beat, but say I leave the song and go to look it over a few hours+ later, I'll try to read it on beat and with the same tone and inflections I had when I was possessed by the vibe that caused me to write it in the first place, but it's like...I'm disconnected from that vibe, that groove, that energy, and as a result I feel that the emotional energy the song held prior decreases once its recorded and everything. anyone else experience this? Do I just need to write/record more to get used to the process? Tips? All in my head?
