[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : If a guy who was not your friend asked you out for a coffee after you spoke to him it means that he is interested or just friendly?

This guy had tried to approach me in the past..he had came near to me at class at university and he asked me where i go out because he told me that he had never met me somewhere...but i did not paid attention and ignore him and after the class lesson i saw him to turn and look at me..... Then after some years i spoke to him at messenger and he asked me out for a coffee... Is he interested or just friendly?
