The Turkish city of Diyarbakir, dubbed the country's Kurdish capital, is a strong support base for the pro-Kurdish HDP party. But after the last election, more than 90% of HDP mayors were replaced by technocrats, after a decision by President Erdogan. The same could happen for this year's polls on March 31. On Nowruz, the Kurdish New Year, politics and culture came together in the form of an HDP rally, where voters turned out to show support for their embattled party. Our correspondents report.
