It’s been revealed a helicopter pilot killed in a crash, which claimed the lives of six tourists in New Zealand in 2015, had not been properly trained. Two Australian tourists and four British tourists were killed when the sightseeing chopper crashed into a Fox Glacier crevasse in November 2015. A report into the incident by transport investigators has been released, and found the pilot’s training and experience to have been inadequate. It also found the helicopter had flown in poor weather conditions, and that there had been major problems with the tourism company’s managerial oversight. Image: Supplied / News Corp Australia
