High Schoolers are constantly being told that they will never amount to anything unless they go in debt to attend college. Then they get out only to not find work and owe lots of money. I live in an area where a degree will get you nothing. Most kids say they wished they would have found work and worked their way up rather than waste money on college. Guidance counselors use the college experience to earn points in the education system and they really don't care where you go as long as you get in. I'm seeing more of a marketing strategy than a genuine concern for each student individually excell in what they are born to do. What are your experiences and thoughts?
