[ Other - Beauty & Style ] Open Question : What is the best nail polish and nail polish remover for people with asthma?

I have bad asthma and I m trying to quit biting my nails. I ve been bitting my nails since I was a little kid over three decades ago. Painting them worked really well last time I tried to quit (about a decade ago), but my asthma has gotten worse since then. Even back then, the fumes made me cough a lot (I did it outside), so the same products (Sally Hansen and some other brand my walmart carried) would probably give me an outright asthma attack now (walking in a room someone was painting nails actually did just that last year). I really need suggestions on good nail polish and nail polish remover for my needs so my nephew doesn t pick up on my habit. I don t want that for him. Notes: Fumes and strong odors bother my asthma. I am allergic to latex which causes a rash all the way to sores depending on exposure time and type. My nails don t require strengtheners or the like. They actually get really strong when I m not biting them. Nail polish with bitter or hot stuff does not work any better than regular polish.
