So, my friend (15, almost 16) hasn’t been to school since the 7th grade. He belongs in (I believe) 10th now, & his parents took him out after he started having mental issues, and hasn’t taken him to the doctor or dentist in years. He obviously has lots of mental issues (lots of anger, feeling disconnected from reality etc.) & has a few rotting teeth, and has undiagnosed health issues. The problem is I’m 16, and I live almost halfway across the country and can’t really do much. None of this is his fault, it’s his parents. He does want help & wants to get back in school, he just doesn’t want his parents to get in trouble, cause despite the way he’s been treated he still loves them apparently. Anything I, or he could do to fix all of this? Thanks. Anything would be appreciated.
