[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : How do I know if he is still interested? Please help me better understand this situation!?

Here my situation: I met this guy right before school ended. We both hit it off and we had a great time at my sorority formal. Our mutual friend told me he likes me but he didn t want to start anything because school was ending and I was going abroad. I saw him before I left and he assured me that we would see each other again next semester. Throughout the summer we snap chatted and had small talk, the time difference in Europe didn t help with our conversations but it was nice. He always liked my photos and viewed my stories and even responded to come of my stories. Then I came back to the states and I text him asking how his summer has been. (He told me when we met that he s a horrible tester FYI) We had a conversation for about a couple days but then he didn t reply. Now we are back at school and I said to him "We should hand out" to which he responded "Yeah Yeah I m down!" and then invited to a party at his house that he s having. I would think that since he liked me he would want to hang out one-on-one but i don t know anymore he has also been short in his text lately, but he s moving back to school so I understand his non-responsiveness... Am I overreacting or does he not like me anymore?
