[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : Why does my ex want to lose his virginity to me specifically?

My ex and I are currently fwb and he suggested(few months after) it after his ex broke up with him saying how he wants to lose his virginity to me(lose both of ours). We dated for a few months over a year ago and I ended things because I was young, scared and it was my first relationship and after that we just become very good friends again until he got a girlfriend a few days after we made out (my first kiss) so we stopped being friends for a while them now where good as ever and I love it friendship because we just click. I’m just confused to why he want to lose it to me specifically because I’m not the tallest, prettiest or skinniest person around and he can definitely get better than me but he’s very respectful and always asks before doing anything together. I just want to understand from an outsiders point of view to what you think about the situation
