‘They’re Shooting Right There’: Active Shooter Killed After Multiple People Shot in Odessa, Texas

Video from the scene of a shooting in Odessa, TX where a witness films what he says is gunfire exchange between police and a gunman outside a movie theater. The witness says shots are fired and continues to say “they killed him.” According to their Facebook page, Midland police said,: “It has been confirmed that the active shooter was shot and killed at the Cinergy in Odessa. There is no active shooter at this time. All agencies are investigating reports of possible suspects.”Odessa police also issued an alert for an active shooter “driving around Odessa shooting at random people”. The shooter had been stopped by a police officer, however had shot the officer and continued driving through the area, opening fire at random, police said in a media conference.
