Donald Trump has reacted to allegations he directed his former attorney Michael Cohen to pay hush money in a bid to influence the 2016 election. The US President has taken to Twitter to accuse Mr Cohen of fabricating stories and breaking under pressure, after the lawyer told a US media outlet that Mr Trump unequivocally commited a crime. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders says the plea does not implicate the President.
