US President Donald Trump has indicated he's willing to send troops to the Middle East to counter Iran. Mr Trump described Iran as a 'nation of terror', as the nation's capital Tehran warns the US should not take provocative action in the region. While the word from the Pentagon is that any ‘boots on the ground’ will be for force protection only, former Pentagon policy advisor Jason Israel says the US should be careful not to miscalculate any moves from Iran that could lead to escalation.
